Weakest armour

I do not cry at the state of the world

Somewhere there is a patch of light

Falling through a crack in a dark room

A thin man struggles to stay on his feet

The bus called time is moving fast

Hitting curves that may swipe you off your feet

Only the ones who are half buried may survive

There is nothing more intoxicating than the physical body

When a man feels his strength for the first time

Time does not care about your body

The body is the weakest armour against time

I do not cry at the state of the world

I look at it and I sigh

Blank

Darkness falls upon us

Like black lightning from the sky

It hits once, twice, then again

You don’t know where you are

Where this comes from

Everything goes blank

Your breath sinks with its own weight

The heaviest weight is one of your own emptiness.

Darkness falls upon us

It doesn’t care who you are

The light goes out in your eyes

Everything fades away

The only sound you hear is your own

The one that never comes out

Fear wins again, the lightning strikes

But can you ever cry?

What is fear if not the sight of one’s own tears?

Darkness runs fast

Sometimes faster than you can run towards the light

Darkness will fall

Lightning will strike

Once, twice.

Train ride

As the last autumn leaves fall

I walk under the trees

I sit and listen as the leaf says goodbye

The whisper is of promise, not of sadness

I wish people were like that

But people are not like that

It is not their fate

Because for them

The light at the end of the tunnel

Is another train

At the bottom of a dry well

At the bottom of a dry well

I sit and see

A silver ring at the top

A whole new world full of light

At the bottom of the well

There is dense darkness

I climb down and sit there everyday

In its cold embrace

A circular coffin

A long tunnel

As people say

There is light at the end of the tunnel

but at the dark end

I sit still

Weakest armour

I do not cry at the state of the world Somewhere there is a patch of light Falling through a crack in a dark room A thin man struggl...
